This noise sensitive site in Essex required extensive assessment to ensure this residential development was neither exposed to disturbing noise levels nor place unfeasible restrictions on nearby commercial centres.

The site covering approx. 34 acres is to house 400+ dwellings and is part of a multi-developer scheme introducing high quality homes for the surrounding areas.  Through a complex design of screening/bunds the completed assessment provided protection for the future residents from the nearby dual carriageway, as well as industrial/commercial sources on neighboring land.
