Description:

Over the past decade H&H Acoustic Technologies have been working with Cemex to ensure the site at Rugby does not cause disturbance to the surrounding residential area .

The assessment includes consideration of an area of approximately 1 sq.km and in excess of 150 noise sources. Due to the complexity of the site and surrounding areas computer modelling of the site is required. Noise radiating from all sources on site have been calculated and measured, and compared against planning conditions and IPPC guidelines.

Following numerous assessments over many years the Cemex site continues to actively manage its noise sources and consistently prove compliance with Local Planning Authority criterion.
